It is always hard for a photographer to find good friendly places to shoot. Thankfully, I found a fantastic place in Sumterville, FL. The owner, Connie Foster, was kind enough to open her doors…er, I mean gate, to allow us to shoot on her beautiful property.

Connie is the owner of Rustic Events, LLC. is a great location for almost any event. Boasting a beautiful spread of lush green grass surrounding an amazing traditional red barn. The barn comes complete with a built-in loft, icicle lighting, mason jar lanterns and even a bar! To add to the western throwback, you can find many rustic vintage decorations like old whiskey barrels, wagon wheels, farm tools on the walls and more.

When we first arrived, I was taken aback by the serenity and beauty of it all. The barn is large enough to hold both sides of the family for when you decide to hop on the saddle and tie the knot! To add the scenery, Connie and her husband also have a beautiful wooden archway, a pond off in the distance with a fountain in the middle and the obligatory silo on the horizon.

Both my client and I fell in love with the place. It was truly a hidden gem in Sumter County. Whether you are just shooting photos, having a wedding reception or any other event where space and beauty and of course great hospitality are a priority, then you need to check out Rustic Events!
